Content
The course will contain topics at the advanced level in civil and offshore structural engineering. The course is intended to bring the candidate to the research front in an area pertaining to his/her PhD project.
Learning outcome
After completing the course, the candidate shall have state-of-the-art knowledge of the topic within the field and be able to carry out research and development within his/her PhD research area.

The course is open for students registered for PhD study within the relevant research area.
Course assessment
There must be an early dialogue between the course supervisor, the student union representative and the students. The purpose is feedback from the students for changes and adjustments in the course for the current semester.In addition, a digital subject evaluation must be carried out at least every three years. Its purpose is to gather the students experiences with the course.
