Tuition fees
In December 2022 the Norwegian Government decided to introduce tuition fees for international students coming from outside of EU/EEA and outside Switzerland.
The price per academic year (two semesters) for each programme is available at Tuition fees information page.
The tuition fee comes on top of the 137 907 NOK (subject to change) which is required by the immigration authorities as a proof of your financial ability to cover your living expenses in Norway. Visa and Study Permit.
Exemptions
Some students may be eligible for exemption from the tuition fees. For more information, see Exemptions from paying tuition fees. If you are eligible for exemption, you must provide extra documentation either from Lånekassen, which shows your eligibility for loan and scholarship, or a decision letter from UDI stating your residential status in Norway. Please note that this study loan/scholarship is available only for those who meet the criteria stated on Lånekassen website. If you are eligible for exemption, you must provide the relevant document within 1 June. You will receive instructions on how to apply for an examption via email in case of received and accepted offer of admission.
