Learning outcome
Upon course completion, you:
- will understand concepts in physical chemistry as the foundation for electrochemistry
- can identify, define, and classify electrochemical reactions and the components involved - electrolyte, electrodes, and interfaces,
- have a fundamental understanding of definitions, thermodynamics and kinetics of electrochemical reactions,
- know the structure and properties of electrode-electrolyte interfaces,
- have knowledge of electroanalytical methods, their use, and how to perform them,
- have knowledge of applications of electrochemistry in areas such as synthesis, materials, and energy.
