The University of Ramon Llull is located in Barcelona in the Catalan Region. The city is known for its pulsating life style and international friendly environment. The university was founded in 1990 and offers courses at several campuses in 3 faculties.
UiS has 2 Erasmus+ agreements with Ramon Llull University:
1) within Education/Sports
2) within Tourism and Hospitality management
Language of instruction
ESADE: The first and second year in Tourism and Hospitality management are taught in Spanish; the third and fourth in English.
Language requirements
English and/or Spanish proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level (read upper-intermediate) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

Dersom utvekslingssemesteret avsluttes senere enn det påfølgende semesteret starter ved UiS, vil instituttet/fakultetet (i samarbeid med partnerinstitusjonen) sørge for tilrettelegging av din utdanningsplan, slik at du ikke blir forsinket i dine studier.
Det finnes ulike muligheter for tilrettelegging: Det kan være at man tar emner som ikke krever at man er tilstede under eksamensperioden, at man får fritak fra obligatorisk undervisning ved UiS eller at man får forlenget frist for innlevering av bachelor- og masteroppgave. How to find subjects
Tourism and Hospitality Managment: Exchange students must choose subjects taught in the fourth semester.
Early Childhood Education: Students can choose courses from both "Primary Education" and "Early Childhood Education". Read more about the subjects here.
