The University is composed of three campuses in different locations: Annecy-le-Vieux, Bourget-du-Lac and Jacob-Bellecombette. It comprises about 15000 students and is divided into 7 faculties and 19 research centres. The University of Savoie Mont Blanc is renowned for its research driven orientation: it operates in fields such as mechatronics, tourism, energy and its collaboration with prominent national and international research facilities such as the CNRS, INRA, CEA, and CERN.
