Pål Ø. Andersen (PhD) is Associate Professor in Reservoir Management at Department of Energy Resources, UiS. He specializes in mathematical modeling of multiphase flow in porous media, particularly related to Special Core Analysis (SCAL). Andersen has authored over 100 technical papers and is Associate Editor in SPE Journal, Journal of Gas Science and Engineering, Energies and Advances in Geo-Energy Research. He has received the 2020 SPE Cedric K Ferguson Medal, awards for Outstanding Reviewer in 2021 (SPE REE) and 2022 (JGSE).
