Learning outcome
After completing the internship course, students are expected to have the following knowledge, skills and competence:
Knowledge:
Students should have knowledge of
- how their professional competence can be applied in working life
- how to apply for a job, how to start a new business as well as
- implementation of relevant tasks in business in collaboration with other employees or customers.
Skills:
Students should be able to
- use professional knowledge that the study provides into a real work situation
- know companies organize their work relate professional questions to real and current situations in working life
- reflect more consciously on their own competence and discuss the use of professional competence in practice
General competence:
- Experience real application and employment processes in working life
- Write professionally anchored texts based on the needs of the employer
- Critically evaluate your own internship

The student must prepare a report on their internship work (incl. a signed timetable). The report is assessed as passed / failed.The signed contract must be delivered by 1 September.If several students work in the same company with similar tasks they can deliver a joint report (up to 3 students). There will also be a conversation about the status in the middle of the training period.NOTE: According to Regulations relating to studies and examinations at the University of Stavanger section 3-10 point 2, a student has 2 attempts in this course, with the opportunity to apply for a 3rd attempt.
