Learning outcome
Have insight into the different phases of a wells lifecycle including drilling, completion, production, intervention.
Have knowledge about drilling equipment and well logging tools.
Be able to perform hydraulic calculations both for hydrostatic pressure, pulling capacity, mechanical friction and fracture pressure.

The portfolio contains of 5 assignments/reports. The grade of the portfolio is not given until all assignments/reports have been assessed. There is not a re-sit option for the portfolio. Students that don’t pass the portfolio, can take this over again the next semester the course is held.Written exam with pen and paper.All parts of the course must be passed to get grade in the course.
