The Faculty of Science and Technology at UiS has several laboratories within the field of design, modelling and simulation. Here is an overview of relevant equipment and facilities.
These study programmes use the laboratories in teaching:
Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM)
The labs are used for simulation and modelling of engineering problems. In labs we have different software for educational research work and teaching purpose. In CAD lab we have powerful workstation computers both for employees and students who are working on heavy simulation and modelling work.
