The 2022 Stern Award Committee is chaired by Kersi Antia (University of Western Ontario) and includes Stefan Wuyts (Pennsylvania State University) and Kenneth Henning Wathne (University of Stavanger - UiS Business School & BI Norwegian Business School)

Louis W. and Rhona L. Stern established the Interorganizational SIG's Louis W. Stern Award in 1999 through the American Marketing Association Foundation. The award recognizes an outstanding article published in a widely recognized and highly respected refereed journal that has made a significant contribution to the literature on inter-organizational marketing or channels of distribution. An article eligible for consideration for 2022 must have been published between 2014 and 2019.

Evaluation criteria include:

  • Quality of the article's contribution to theory and practice;
  • Originality of the article;
  • Technical competence in the execution of the research; and
  • Impact on the field of inter-organizational marketing or channels of distribution.
