Kort om meg
Since September 2021 I have been an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Studies of UiS. Since September 2020 I have also been a postdoc researcher at the Reading Centre of UiS working on my MSCA fellowship project with the title: What do we learn from dialogues in fiction? (FictDial). The project examines the role of dialogues in literary fiction in relation to the reading experience and whether and how we acquire social knowledge by reading literary dialogues. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska Curie grant agreement No. 845343.
Between 2018 and 2020, I was a research fellow in the MTA-ELTE Neuroethology of Communication "Lendület" Research Group at ELTE University in Budapest where I studied canine cognition using (and implementing) non-invasive electrophysiological methods. Between 2014 and 2018 I was an Assistant Professor at the Department of General Psychology at the Péter Pázmány Catholic University in Budapest. I conducted my PhD studies at the Language & Cognition Department of the MPI for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, and also worked as a research assistant in the FieldTrip (a toolbox for analysis for EEG/MEG data) development team. My research investigates empirical literature, reading, neurocognitive mechanisms involved in turn-taking of conversation and I am also interested in comparative studies of language comprehension.
