Opening hours this summer
Opening hours for all our libraries this summer.
The main library at Ullandhaug:
22.06: Unstaffed.
24.06 - 09.08: 10:00 - 14:00.
We are back to ordinary staffed opening hours from 12.08.
The library is closed on Saturdays throughout this period. As usual, students and staff at UiS have access to the library 24/7 throughout the summer.
The library in Bjergsted
Open all summer, at 09:00 - 15:30.
Closed three days: 17, 18 and 19 July.
The library at the Archaeological Museum
1 - 12 July: 10.00 - 14.00.
15 - 31 July: Unstaffed.
1 - 9 August: 10.00-14.00.
Employees at the museum have access to the library from 06.15 to 22.00 as usual.
The libraries at Stavanger University Hospital
South building:
01.07 - 11.08: 10:00 - 14:00.
Employees have access to the library using an ID card and code.
F building:
Until June 28: normal opening hours.
1 June to 11 August: closed.
Ordinary opening hours from 14 August.
Books in the Psychiatric library can be ordered and picked up in the Medical library, or sent in the internal mail.
Ullandhaug: Main Library
The library is open to students and staff 24/7. The building and the library are open to everyone between 07:30 and 20:00 every day. Use UiS ID to enter KE-house before 7.30 am and after 8 pm. Access after 8 pm for non-UiS students.

Saturday: 9 am – 3 pm

Open to students and staff with a keycard from Bjergsted from 7 am – 11 pm everyday.

The Library at the Museum of Archaeology
Open to staff at the Museum of Archaeology every day from 6.15am to 10pm.
The archaeological museum is closed due to renovations. During the rebuilding period, the library is only open to the museum's employees. If others need to visit the library, a time can be arranged in advance via e-mail.

Mon–Fri: 9am – 3pm
Students and staff with UiS-id:
Saturday and Sunday: 11 am to 4 pm.
For museum staff, the library is open every day from 6.15 am to 10 pm.
