Økonomistudentenes Forening, also called ØSF, is a line association at the Business School at UiS. It is an association for all economics students at bachelor level, where everyone automatically becomes a member for free. The ØSF Board works voluntarily throughout the year to make the study time to our students the best possible. One of the most important things we do is to create unity and involvement among the students, and to be the voice of the students in important study-related matters. This is a continuous work, and we work hard for the whole year, through various events and social happenings. Among other things, we arrange “Fadderuken” week at the Business School at UiS, cabin trip, academic and social quiz nights, fairs, ball, and other fun activities. We are in close contact with the Business School at UiS and talk about proposals for changes, feedback on lecturers and study plans and much more. Through our professional fairs, the Business Fair (Næringslivsmessen) and the Audit Week (Revisjonsuken), our students get better contact with companies and good insight into what the business community has to offer. We also have a good collaboration with many of the university's other line associations and student organizations.
