The aim of the COVCOM project is to research the use of video for communicating complex, but important health messages about pandemics, primarily to the general population. The project is threefold: A qualitative study where we lay the groundwork through interviews and literature reviews; a creative study where we explore the creation of video communication; and a quantitative study where we test video communication in controlled experiments.
In 2023, the project finalized the Resilience in Healthcare theoretical framework and a digital learning tool, which proved effective in enhancing resilience awareness in nursing homes, homecare, and hospitals.

In the course "Economics of Motivation" the students get to try themselves as consultants in working life to test theories in practice. The assignments are based on how companies motivate their employees, and the students must analyze and recommend measures that can increase motivation. The best report was awarded NOK 40,000 in the Sandnes Sparebank Case Competition on November 24.
Once again this year, students in the course "Economics of Motivation" had the opportunity to work as consultants in the workplace to test theories in practice.
